Megan joined Kinetic after completing her degree in BSc (Hons) Sports and Exercise Therapy at Leeds Beckett University in July 2019. Whilst at university, Megan gained experience working with sports teams such as Leeds Rhinos, Yorkshire Carnegie and Sheffield United, as well as working with the support staff at the Sue Ryder Hospice based in Keighley. Megan then went on to be the recipient of the Society of Sports Therapists 2019 Travelling Scholarship to Toronto, Canada. During her 6 weeks in Canada, Megan worked as part of the medical team for the York Lions American Football Team at York University. She provided pitch-side assistance for training sessions and games, in addition to practicing within the university’s clinic to treat injured players. She also attended the National Ballet of Canada where she worked with their therapy team to treat the dancers.

She now works along side clinic Director Gayle in a unique double-therapist approach combining both their skills in consultation and hands-on therapy. In addition Megan runs her own clinic sessions here at Kinetic and is quickly proving herself as a brilliant massage therapist too. Most recently she has taken on a pitch-side Sports Therapy role at local premiership club Sheffield United, working with the academy youths.

A recent addition to Megan’s skillset is Level 1 Neuro-Muscular Activation (Be Activated).
