Nathan studied BSc sport and exercise science at Manchester Metropolitan University and continued to MSc Sport and Exercise Science – (Physiology).
He is also qualified in level 3 and level 4 sports massage therapy.
He worked with Bury Football Club within the Sport Science department for 2 seasons working with the academy foundation and development phases as well as the under 18s.
For the past 4 years he has been employed as an Academy coach by Sheffield Wednesday Football Club and also for their football Community Programme.
He set up Cryotherapy Uk (Sheffield) 2 years ago. As a scientist he was intrigued by the effects of this therapy, not just in a sporting environment but also in its beneficial properties for conditions such as Arthritis. As part of his final dissertation for his MSc studies, he carried out scientific studies into the effects of Cryotherapy on Osteo Arthritis and also Rheumatoid Arthritis. His studies were met with great interest by his peers who have encouraged him to publish his work.
